Art of dialogue and inclusion, l’Opera è Jazz is a project in which different music experiences and ideas are combined and overlapped.
It is also a tribute to the music genre that most distinguishes Italy in the world.

“Jazz is a means, an adjective, a mentality. For us, Opera is jazz is to say Opera is cool”.

Here, to abandon the idea of Opera as a “cultivated” music is a way to invigorate the status of jazz and cancel certain ideological boundaries, in the name of a single Music. The maturation of the concept took place after a long search for possible adaptations and a careful analysis of the original works and contexts.
The timeless arias thus acquire new forms and expressive possibilities, in an attempt to bring a wider audience closer to the opera.
